Government offices can revise contact details, procedures, search fields, and published records without notice. Jail rosters, VADOC entries, court systems, parole reports, VINELink, BOP, and ICE may update on different schedules. A displayed date can be projected, and a missing name can reflect transfer or a system's historical limit rather than community release. Names can also identify more than one person.
Virginia Released Inmates does not warrant that every statement, link, or result is complete, accurate, or current. Verify identity and status with the government office responsible for the record. Confirm visiting rules, facility information, payment instructions, and mailing details with that office before traveling, sending funds, or submitting documents.

Virginia Released Inmates does not host jail rosters, inmate or supervisee files, booking photographs, warrant data, parole decisions, court records, or release orders. It points visitors toward agencies and locators that may maintain those materials. A custody check or records request must go to the proper sheriff, jail authority, Virginia Department of Corrections, court clerk, Virginia Parole Board, BOP, ICE, or other issuing office.
A local jail release and a VADOC prison release are not interchangeable records. VADOC's locator covers current custody or supervision and does not promise a complete archive after final discharge. Federal and immigration tools have their own scope. Always use the custodian tied to the last known placement.
